The Hovingham Directory

The Worsley Arms Hotel
The Worsley Arms Hotel stands proud in Hovingham village, overlooking the village green at the cross-roads. It is an unstuffy affair, of late-Georgian splendour, owned and managed by Tony and Sally Finn for over 20 years. Their genuine focus is on ensuring guests are relaxed and comfortable. It is like a second home to many, a place to meet friends or make them, and a place to return to. There are 20 bedrooms, an elegant restaurant and informal dining bar, while comfortable lounges open onto a welcoming garden with marquee and grassed area. This is a place to relax; a place to drink, to eat, to meet, to celebrate.

Hovingham Bakery & The Rolling Pin Cafe
Here at the bakery we use traditional baking techniques with modern twists and a handful of Swedish influence from Victoria. We bake fresh bread everyday ranging from white or brown tin loaves to Sour dough and focaccia breads. Swedish cinnamon buns fill the air with their irresistible scent every morning. We produce cakes, brownies, tarts, layer cakes, almond slices and we always have specials on a weekend. Our cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday and on Mondays from May to October plus we have idyllic outdoor seating set next to the ford.
