Accessibility

As Hovingham Hall is an Eighteenth Century Grade 1 listed family home, wheelchair access is only available to a small part of the Ground Floor and Gardens. There are quite a number of steps in the house, there are six large stone steps out of the Tapestry Hall, on the ground floor, and there is also a large stone staircase up to the 1st floor. Please note we do not allow mobility scooters into the Hall, however they are allowed in the grounds.
